Will someone let me in on the story? Everybody keeps saying we're such a darn mystery! Where is the mystery, and why isn't anybody letting me in on the secret? This is what annoyed me the most about those David Eddings novels. Women were portrayed as unfathomable, while all the time, the female characters simply acted either stupid, childish or darn superior. Nothing mysterious at all. I demand to be taken on face value!
