I see them occasionally, but that's usually because the central dispatch station is located in the town that I live in - they've either cut, or failed to expand, the state budget for the Highway Patrol for the past 2-3 years - they wouldn't pay any overtime to the troopers they had this year for working during the holidays, and they didn't have enough troopers to cover the major highways adequately as it was... :(
