where a group of people is reffered to as "ils" rather than "elles," even if it contains many females but only one male. Of course, the problem is more significant in English because we don't append adjectives or verbs to reflect the gender of their associated noun. By the way caffine-iv, where's the need to be so curt? Is this a sensitive subject for you? :>
