have you seen the terms and conditions? "You may register a domain name via us, but we make no guarantees about how soon or even whether we will actually do it, and as soon as we want to, we can say "pay or give it up""... that's what it boils down to, along with the usual "you may not use this service for anything anyone might find useful unless you pay (and what's the betting they have an agreement with Verisign?)"
