What is the Protocol setting? by Avium2003-01-19 11:25:34
I've sorted it now by mcnutcase 2003-01-19 11:29:25
It was a case of too many mouse handlers... X and gpm were fighting over it, which is why it was twitchy... I dropped down to single-user, apt-get removed gpm, rm'd /dev/mouse and symlinked it to /dev/psaux, to work with an XF86 file snippet of this:
Section "InputDevice"
Driver "mouse"
Identifier "Mouse[1]"
Option "Device" "/dev/mouse"
Option "Emulate3Buttons" "on"
Option "Name" "AutoDetected"
Option "Protocol" "ps/2"
Option "Vendor" "AutoDetected"
EndSection
