Any WiFi gurus out there? by jcovergaar2006-11-19 12:23:33

What sort of output power is needed? by JCOvergaar 2003-01-19 11:02:48
I mean, there's a lot of stuff from different vendors out there, and it's all rated in power... not distance... I need something that'll go for about a 200 yard radius around the antenna, and handle multiple stories, so I guess it has to radiate up and down a bit, too.

Linksys is what we're used to using for access points and the like, though we're open to other products if they'll get the job done more effectively for less money. We'd like to stick to 802.11g if possible, though.

What kind of numbers should I be looking for in antennas and the like, to accomplish this?
