| Any WiFi gurus out there? |

| I was talking with the owner of my apartment complex about some ideas to help improve the place, and one of the things I suggested was setting up a wireless (802.11g) LAN (actually probably more like a very small WISP) for the complex. He's a bit of a geek, used to own his own ISP back in the late 80s, and thought it was a great idea.
One problem... neither of us know much about setting up a wireless network that goes beyond what we both have in our homes. And neither of us want to delve too far into the engineering and mathematical side of things. We just want some good advice on how to set it up, what equipment to use, and so on. (scale we're talking is 4 buildings plus a central office, beaming from central office, no more than 200 foot radius from the office)
I don't want to clutter the message board with an excessively long post... if you think you can help, there's a good bit of additional info here:

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can offer. |
