isn't that ALREADY what accounts for the majority of file-sharing traffic? as much as geeks would like to think they're the only ones downloading music, the fact is that there's at least as many ditzy FYOSs on the p2p networks. Come to think of it, that's probably what loses the RIAA & co. the most money -- people who download the one popular song by crappy teen pop sensations instead of buying the CD. Now if that's the case, I think it's a Very Good Thing. Anything that makes pushing crappy pop garbage less profitable for the record companies is a Very Good Thing.
