Thats a hard one. Particularly when they take away your rights to maybe protect the rights of others. For example one could argue they take away the right to a save neighborhood by not taking away the right to have as many guns as you like. Or they take away the right for someone to smoke everywhere he wants to protect the rights of other people to have clean air when they eat or work. So my thought would be it is OK to revolt when the taking of right goes "out of proporiton". But unfortunately that phrase can be twisten and bend so badly, that I might not be of much help here. ;-)
