I'm not a zealot. ;-)

My laptop dual boots (Win2k and Mandrake), but my main home machine doesn't. Mainly due to some really funky IDE problems.

If I hook up my CD to the standard IDE controller and the HD to the Ultra-ATA 100 controller, Windows loses the CD. Which made the installation really fun. Grrr.

So now I have the CD and HD connected to the Ultra-ATA 100 controller, and the BIOS doesn't support booting from ATAPI devices on that controller. :-/
