Least secure OS? Linux! by Bealz2006-11-19 12:55:59
Did anyone know about this? by randomman 2003-01-13 21:26:39
I don't have links handy, but I got it off of Microsoft's page and McCaffee(sp?). Apparently their antivirus can cause stability problems in Windows XP when using explorer 6. In fact, while certain programs are running it will cause rampant crashes.

Neither company actually owned up to responsibility, but I found it interesting. There is no current fix. My university offers free McCaffee Antivirus and since I am at present a broke college student, I am stuck using it until I can aford Norton again. I miss my stable XP.

In advance, please don't suggest switching to Linux. I like my current software and have tried Linux. It's nice, but not my cup of tea for daily use since I like to game, especially RPGs.
