My SO is felling better this morning. by glenalec 2003-01-13 17:27:43
I let her beat me up with a short, stiff length of rubber hose that was packing material protecting the carriage rail of a dot matrix printer once. Totally harmless, but makes a noise like you're being beaten half to death ;-). I'm into that! ;-)

She always gets bent out of shape when I thump my computer, but at least I never want to hit her, not even when I am very mad at her. It just isn't on. On the other hand, she wants to beat me up for something that I wasn't even remotely involved in! So now I have some ammo to counter her when she complains about me bashing the x86 out of my PC. (Acually, I don't hit it very hard. I can't afford to break it more than it has already broken itself! The desk in front of the PC gets most of it!)

She managed to contact the taxi recipt printer who promised to get back to her with which of the 200+ taxi companies she should contact about her box of lost sales brochures (assuming the Taxi driver didn't bring them back to the university gatehouse already).

She found about about the missing chocolates and wasn't upset at all. :-P. I think she would be upset if I DIDN'T find and re-hide the chocolates as it would ruin the game ;-). She just doesn't like me eating my share in one siting, which I don't like either. When I eat stolen chocolates, I pace myself, which I don't if they are legitimately gained!

BTW: Wow. What a thread I started below. I'm so proud ;-)
