I used to have to re-boot 2-4 times in a heavy nights web-surfing. Now I don't.

Also, it's my understanding that windows generally, when possible, blames third-party apps for crashes due to *its own* faulty memory management.

I'm currently in the process of switching over to Linux. I'm still somewhat in a Win rut, but my Debian system has *never* crashed, despite my ignorance.
