as one of my fairly close relatives is the golden age sci fi writer Ray Bradbury. The legend actually goes that Bradbury, Arthur C. Clarke, and L. Ron Hubbard got into a philosophical discussion and Hubbard posited that he could make himself a multi-millionaire if he were to start his own religion. Rumor has it that a wager was involved as well, but I have yet to hear the true details of it from Ray. If and when I'm able to confirm it, I'll post it for UFies edification. 8-)
