? This line of argument makes my head hurt. if it's easy to meddle with, people WILL mess with it. A consumer product cannot be easy to mess with. It must have product support. It must have training support. All of that costs money and if it doesn't exist coporate America will not buy it or use it. Sun was willing to give away its office suite but coporate suits demanded all of the above , so now Sun sells it. nuff said.
