Start > Settings > Control Pannel, click on Add/remove programs... Uninstall the thing... I have not needed it. As much as I hate to praise an M$ product, mediaprayer works better (when you can get the codecs), and doesn't give me a nagware pop-up when I attempt to close it. and anything that doesn't work there QT plays, for some reason I don't find Nagware at the begining as annoying.
