Besides, lots of people don't even know who Qaddafi or Khaddafi is. I tried using women's names for a while but "Xena" tripped me up when someone transcribed it as a "z" instead of an "x". "Isn't it nnnZnnnn?" "No, it's nnnXnnnn, X like in 'Xena, Warrior Princess'". "I don't watch that show." (unsaid by me: "But you must have seen it spelled in the freaking 'TV Guide' at least.")
