Down here that's archaic slang for a pair of something none of the four toons in that panel have. If they said that in Britannia, at that particular elevation, one might wonder if the other two needed to shut their barn doors. But only in Canada, oh Canada, does such dialog bring to mind images of a young Rick Moranis. So... what's your favorite Canadian slang?
