you'd be surprised how long it can take to pull 2 circuits of NM cable through 3/4" armored cable conduit (don't ask why, it was a dumb idea). It ended up with a tug of war trying to get the stuff unstuck.
We managed in 6ish hours to acomplish: hanging all the boxes, drilling holes (2 per stud for 50 ft. , 3 per stud for 25 feet) running 50 feet of armored cable with 2 circuits inside (ended up doing two 25 foot pulls ansd tieing them together at a box), and running 20 feet of NM cable. then we moved all the buig stuff/junk from the rest fo the basement to the one finished corner.
I then went to my Bro-in-law's house and helped him with his bathtub enclosure, moving and disassembling a storage closet, and trimming out the rough-in for the bath.
Then I went home, slept for 34 hours and couldn't sleep any more. ossed and turned for an hour, then got up, showered, and went back down stairs to work. Boxed up all my books, moved more stuff, and am now ready to move the old book cases to the attic.
then, I can build (rough-in) the built-in bookcases/storage and finish running electrical circuits for the basement.
Then I need to plan the electrical for the bathroom, run it, plan the lighting circuits for the basement, run them, and then I can call the inspectors for an inspection... |
