  I use wrist splints by Arienadean 2003-01-11 14:37:15
but avoid using them unless you are feeling a fair bit of pain. The reason is you could possibly become more dependant on them. But I find them really good in general when my hands/wrists/forearms are bugging me. But I have CTS, arthritis, FMS, and myotonia. So multiple things which at times bug that part of me and others. There is also traction therapy to deal with CTS and is done by some physio therapists, etc. You'd have to ask your doc on it. Nope it's not like "traction" you hear for other things in the sense that you go in for treatments and have your forearm in traction for a certain period of time then they remove it and you go home... you don't stay in for hours and days in traction... you just go for visits like a massage therapist.
