| The fact of the matter is that Gordon is a business man - and a good one at that. With the financial tatters the province was in at the hands of the NDP, that mindset is exactly what's needed to get the province on track. I'm glad someone is willing to step in and, knowing that they're going to be hated for it, make some changes. *However* - many of his decisions strike me as rather shortsighted. I'm no business expert, but all these sweeping changes seem geared towards short term gain - the profits of which should be seen right about election time. I don't know, I'd just rather see something more long term... tax refunds are nice and all, but how is that going to help us in 10 years when Gordo's out of office and the province belongs to four or five megacorporations? |
