that in winter, I kept a pot of hot water on the hot-plate all night,
so that when the fire alarm went off, I could drop in two tea bags
as I put on my jeans & shoes.
When I walked out of the room, for a winter 2:am fire alarm,
I would take my tea pot, and four coffee cups, to help out
the frozen short sighted people clammoring for heat.
side note: no, I wasn't suppsoed to have the hot-plate in my dorm,
but I got along with my RA, enough that he saw no real problem.
He had 'bigger fish to fry', as long as I caused no headaches. |
