| I work in a CD Media store, which is how I have all the information I do. I also work very closely with Ritek, one of the largest CD manufacturers in the world. I do freelance CD reviewing, and corporate consultation for recordable media. Costco's prices are too high for me :P but thank you anyways! the only time I buy CD-Rs at full price is for my product review web page, which will be going up shortly. I am currently reviewing London Drugs' Maxell 40x CD-Rs, and Futureshop's Smart Buy: The Write Stuff 32x CD-Rs. If you are interested, aside from futureshop not charging the levy, the cd-rs are the same price, and the maxell's are winning! they have an incredibly low error rate...unfortunatly, maxell buys from 6 different manufacturers, and it is never certain you will get the same quality CD-R from one batch of CD-Rs to the next :( |
