things like table height and everything, what made the biggest difference to me was buying a Wacom graphire tablet. Nowadays I avoid mice if at all possible. I usually take the tablet with me to work. Works pretty well with linux, and you can do some amazing stuff with the gimp (and I presume in photoshop too). I only use mice when playing games that don't work with a stylus.
