British Columbia Premier arrested by neksys2006-11-19 12:55:59
  BWAHAHAHAH! by Illiad 2003-01-11 10:16:58
I don't trust Gordon Campbell any further than I could throw him. I met him at a BCTIA meeting once, and he struck me as the stereotypical smarmy used-car salesmen. I don't like the guy. It doesn't surprise me he got nailed with a DUI.

BUT...

I have to give him total credit for having the cajones to do what he's doing in the province. After over a decade of mismanagement, nepotism, incompetence and embarassment at the hands of the NDP, he's made some very difficult choices to get B.C. back on the straight and narrow. Of course a significant portion of the province is furious at him -- a lot of them had their nests feathered by their sugar daddies in the New Democrat Party, and now Gordo has taken their toys away.

Of course, he gets blamed for it. And all he's doing is cleaning up the excesses in the province.

For the record: I'm not a B.C. Liberal and did not vote for them. I do, however, appreciate what they've done thus far. Oh, and I think Gordo should stay in office as long as he's not screwing up. Better the devil you know.
