Do you have a Walgreens or Rite Aid nearby? They have Futuro wrist braces that I used until I started mousing a gauche. They cost under $10 in my neighborhood (which is far from perfect but two blocks from a Walgreens). Also, I'd suggest taking aspirin to keep the inflammation down and soaking your wrists in hot water and epsom salts frequently. This might hurt worse, but I'd also suggest you find a way to stop using them for as long a period as you can stand so as to give them a rest. As our star quarterback found out, you can't heal after an injury if you keep using that body part (and you'll blow the last two important games to crappy teams).
