[insert non-FYOS expletive here]... For the last three hours, this processor fan is acting up. Makes LOUD intermittent noises. In the machine I'm working on, so it's no use just closing the cover. My 'puter snores!

Honestly, it's starting to grow on me. At least I know it's still running as long as it rattles. I'm only afraid of sudden and utter silence...

Any tips on how to repair/rig an unbalanced processor fan? No, I can't get a new one till monday... or at all, depends on what antiques store still sells K6 coolers.
