I mean, I've only got 3 smoke detectors in my 32 m² student apartment... I brought one with me when I moved here, after a week I discovered that there already was one in the hallway, and a couple of months ago the company I rent from decided that they should install smoke detectors in all their apartments. That this building already had smoke dectors everywhere didn't matter, they had to come here and start drilling at 7 am three days in a row anyway.
