but I need clarification. When God ordered the Israelites to kill others, was He saying to love your neighbor or to love Him? Or was that just something the Israelites felt like doing, and then justified it by making up the fact that God ordered it? I really want to know, because alot of things God does in the Old Testament seem to have very little to do with love.
