"Hot and bothered": different meanings US/CA/UK? by Route2003-01-04 12:50:56

... it can mean general excitement ("She got hot and bothered over going to see N*Sync, even though they suck."), sexual allurment ("He got hot and bothered after seeing her huge... tracts of land."), and anger ("Don't get all hot and bothered over me firing you. You suck."). Much like the f-word, "Hot and Bothered" is a very useful phrase.
