trying not to take gift horse in the mouth... by lord_dolphin 2003-01-04 12:00:50
Okay...I'm REALLY trying not to be bummed out here...but ARGH!

My boss decided that she wants to start selling DVD-Burners in our store...fine, that's great more power to us right? well, sorta, we are buying them wholesale for the same price some places sell them retail, which means we're about $50.00 more expensive then one or two stores :( but that's not what makes me sad...what makes me sad is that she choose the Pioneer A05 over ALL the GOOD DVD-WRITERS! WHAH!!!! and we're getting one for use in our store, which means *I'll* get to use one...but the Pioneer A05 is so cruddy and buggy that I doubt we'll even be able to get our high quality DVD-Rs to work in it! Why WHY couldn't she have gotten the pioneer A04?!?! it's soooo much better, or the SONY DRU500A?!?!? it's EVEN better!! but NOOOO she had to get the LATEST model...cause the latest is always the best right??? <sigh>.

anyways, just wanted to get that off my chest. If we ever get it to work right it'll be nice, but pioneer has REALLY screwed up on it :(
