Sony VPH- 1041Q crt projector by vbehyr 2003-01-04 06:46:24
This projector (Sony VPH- 1041Q) is a 3 CRT setup (Red, Green, Blue). Using a CRT projector allows for greater contrast then a LCD based projector. The bulbs also last a lot longer then LCD bulbs 10k hours vs 2k. The downside is that the pictures the three CRT tubes project have to be aligned. This is an easy task requiring nothing more then a screw driver. This system weighs at least 100 pounds so you are not going to be moving it around everyday (and readjusting the tubes). It is the prefect projector for a home theater type system. The three CRT tubes appear to be in good shape and other then a small dent on one of the vents the projector is in good shape. I don't have the paper manuals for the projector; however I do have a set that I downloaded.

The Remote Controller (VPR-722S) IS NOT a little hand held remote, it allows you to plug and unplug video sources easily if the project is not easy to get to (Like if you are doing rear projection or ceiling mounted). The remote also has inputs on it that the projector doesn't have. The cable I have to connect the remote to the projector is 30feet. All the buttons on the remote are working and it is in good shape.

Inputs on the Projector include: SVideo, BNC Composite, BNC RGB, and RCA Audio
Inputs on the Remote include: Svideo, RCA Video (2), RCA Audio (2), and VTR

As heavy as the unit is, you picking it up in Cleveland, OH is the preferred plan, however I am flexible and would be willing to ship (Buyer Pays) or drive it to your location (Email me for more)

I am asking 1000USD for the entire setup not including shipping. (Sony VPH- 1041Q, Remote Controller VPR-722S, Cable, Power Cord). However if you would like to make a lower offer email me.

If you would like pictures or have any questions about this setup please email me.
