since it originally came up in the context of Sun/Java/packaging Java with Windows. I was under the impression that the reason Microsoft was ordered to package Java with Windows was that it was necessary for MS to do that in order to make sure they still had competition in the marketplace. If the ruling was, in fact, due to MS having a license agreement with Sun, and the court was just enforcing it, then I feel a lot better about the ruling. I need to do more research on exactly what they were being taken to court for before I continue discussing the topic, apparently.
