It may have even stepped in it a few timers and had to pry it out of my shoe!

Eh, this is part of a running Alaska joke. About 6 or 7 years ago they passed a law saying that there had to be more churches than bars. Well.... Alaska is full of bars :P Therefore, we have entire streets that have nothing but churches on them, one after another. Churches all over the place!

Odd tho, that the churches are out here in the MatSu Valley (big huge place the size of West Virginia, only slightly smaller than Minnesota) and the bars are in Anchorage (an hour or an hour and a half away...).
