"I am a bad Adiplomat" says it all. the article there implies more than one. if I say I am a bad singer, it implies there is more than one singer. it also sets my singing ability below average. I can say I have a bad car. implies there is more than one car in the world. if I say I have a bad thermoneuclear purple octagonal rectal thermometer, it implies that for some reason, there is more than one of these items. so when he says he is a bad adiplomat, he is not only implying more than one of him exists, but that he is somehow below average as well.
