I'm (thankfully) employed as a US Government worker and have about 14 years experience - but no degree of any kind. I started out playing with a Wang VS-100. I don't make bad money, but there are even entry-level jobs that require degrees. I've seen more than one story on this board about people that find perfect jobs that they have all the knowledge and experience for, but then comes "The Question:" "What college did you graduate from? - No college? - Sorry, we can't hire you. We only hire college graduates." Then, back on the street... sigh
