get out of the stone age... get an agp equipped motherboard- its not hard to find one
unless you have a processor around 1.5ghz, (that will work w/ your new mobo) get a new one
drop the slot a and go for the socket a
more ram is a must

and then go for a geforce 4... if you think an mx is all you will need (think glorified geforce 2), but if you want your games or whatever to look spendiforous, then go for the ti

if you have a %$#&*load of money, go for the top of the line radeon (even though i hate them, they are good)
unless you want to hold out for a while and get a geforce fx when it comes out... which you do want to do
