    I played FF3 (U.S.)... by rapido75 2002-12-29 18:53:28
...when it was released back in 1994 (memories...*sigh*), did everything there possibily was to do in the game, and got right to the very end, where you go to the tower and split up into 3 groups. My prob: not enough of my guys were leveled up enough to go through it. So I went on a long trek to level up my guys, eventually got bored, and stopped playing. Eventually I sold my SNES (which is no biggie since I have emulators, although for legal reasons I must state that I own a cartridge of every ROM I have. Really. ;-).

It's too bad, because the game was great up to that point. It was HUGE to a level I've rarely seen since then. The amount of characters in the game was weas astounding, and the writing was tremendous. There were points in the game that honestly almost moved me to tears (such as the part where Cyan defeats the Ghost Train, but then has to see his wife and kid get taken away by the train, since they were poisoned at the castle... it was a tearjerking scene...)

To anyone who played it... is the final battle/ending of the game worth it for me to hunt it down and try again (or maybe find a few gamesaves...)?
