Technically, though, atheism can be classified as a "religion".. the belief in the absence of a god is still a "religious belief". Offering a guideline for living is not a pre-requisite for something to be considered a "religion". Of course, debate about this could probably go in circles for days, with neither side ever winning. I would strongly argue, however, that when the constitution grants freedom of religion, it is not denying rights to those who choose not to believe in any supernatural beings..
