The really big one is "all teenagers are immature". That's not true, not even the biggest percentage is. But the only ones you ever see or hear about are the smaller percentage who cause enough trouble to get into the mdeia. Thats the same all across the age range, you find more news articles depicting bad things happening than you do good, so of course we see more teenagers doing bad stuff than good. That doesn't mean they're all ready to run out and get drunk and have sex with everyone else and spread disease and (for women) get pregnant. I think a lot of it, is everyone expects them to do so and punish accordingly, and then the thought becomes "well, I'm already being punished for it, so why not actually do it?"
