I've been using Mozilla since some of the early milestones, and I haven't had a single crash with it since the 1.0 version. On the odd occasion I run into a site that thinks Moz isn't worth supporting, but usually a quick change of the user agent string fixes that problem.
I dunno a lot about its stability on Linux, but I've been running it on both Win98 and WinXP with no problems. It loads as fast as IE (on a 1.0Ghz+ system), generally displays pages faster, and the tabbed browsing can't be beat. And if you just want a browser without the email and other stuff, there's several projects that just use the Moz rendering system (I'm keeping an eye on Pheonix myself, though I actually like Moz's email client..) |
