Sure, "Bless your heart" _can_ be said in such a way as described, but it usually isn't. If you say that some of the finest old ladies that ever graced the red clay of Georgia had such hostile thoughts every time they said that phrase, I think I'll have to ask you to step outside. And I'm no Southern Belle, so I'm going to kick you right squa in the giblets.
Just because you and crash have watched Blown by the Wind too many times doesn't mean you can speak "Southern" any better than the rest of us. Well, better than ozanbaba, maybe. But speaking Southern isn't something he needs to do. |
