I only step on people if I get something out of the stepping. And no, I don't care. Not anymore anyways. People continuelly treat me like garbage wether I'm nice and sweet or a dirty rotten jackass.
I never claimed to not be living in responce to their lives, but I do _NOT_ live in emulation of them. Treating people like garbage and stepping on them are two different things. Treating someone like garbage is beating them up for no reason, stealing things, calling them names, and so on. Stepping on them is using their weaknesses to hurt them ntil they give you something or you attain something you couldn't have before (such as a job promotion or something of that sort. Didn't get it from the person you stepped on, but you did get it because of the stepping).
Treated like crap 'once' is a severe understatement and miscalculation. Unless you count 'between the ages of 8 and 21' as 'once'... and it continues.
No, I don't believe someone should only help others if they get something out of it in return. I do help on occasion for no reason and I never said I didn't. What I said is that I don't think twice about stepping on other people to get what I want and I do it frequently now. I did not say that was the only thing I ever do.
