Does anyone know how to identify all fonts used .. by ag_wyvern2002-12-27 11:43:29
not an easy way.... but by rottweiler2006-11-19 12:55:59
    Thanks, but... :-) by ag_wyvern 2002-12-27 12:20:37
That'll be useful for some fonts I actually want that I can't remember the names of.

My problem right now is that there are numerous fonts, in use, in the documents I have. Because I don't have them on my system, they get the system default font displayed. However, the document still identifies that section by the font name.

For example, one of the fonts I was missing was BinnerD. When I viewed the page without it, everything was totally misaligned. When I loaded the font, it was okay.

I need the specific fonts originally used because the formatting is based on the font (these were newsletters that were faxed to our customer base... I want to reprint them as part of my portfolio).

So... I need something that can access the .doc file and find all the font tags (or whatever they're called in that environment :-) and list them out for me. Then I can see about finding the actual fonts to load on my system.
