Hello, reality?! Or maybe it's my fault because I didn't realize you were asking hypothetical question.

So you bomb one facility to ground and North Koreans and Americans live happily ever after? How would you feel if some foreign country bombed down some research facility because it created something illegal? Even if it was against treaties signed?

This kind of politics result retaliation that can be justified, then US retaliate back and stoneage is coming closer. Even if the war would be eventually avoided it will create hatred among vast number of people and they will do unpredictable things when pushed into the corner, maybe even resort to terrorism.
