especially when it comes to parties. And what my boyfriend smokes. Which is a nice change from them coming to get me from a Trivial Pursuit party, when I was 18. I'd told them where I was going to be, that I wasn't coming home, and had been told this was OK. At 11pm my mother changed her mind, decided that physics students wouldn't be just playing board games and drinking lemonade, phoned me (on the land line at the party) and sent dad to get me. He was almost disappointed when he came in to find that the worst thing that had happened to me was questions about Sport.
