    what's this 25 litres stuff? by kelli217 2002-12-27 08:44:00
As I understand it, almost every auto in the world is produced with a fuel tank of at least 25 litres (roughly 6.5 gallons). If you want to make a point, talk about fuel efficiency. Oh, wait. Maybe you were? Like, 25l/100km? You didn't include the "/100km" part. Then in that case I understand. Let me work that out into miles per gallon so that those USA folks who never learned metric can understand. 25 litres per 62 miles, or 6.5 gallons per 62 miles, or 1 gallon per roughly 9.5 miles. That's what USA folks would call 9.5mpg. Yes, that would be a horribly inefficient use of fuel. Luckily, sales of such monstrous vehicles have been sinking fast.
