It's the only place I know you can visit for free but you have to pay (a toll on the bridge) to leave.
It's the West Bank of the Mississippi River but you have to drive South to get to it.
A main connection to the area is the Huey P. Long Bridge, which is not particularly long, but is frighteningly narrow. It has had traffic circles at its base for decades which locals have yet to master.
It is the only place in the metro area Nint' Wawduhs and Chalmations can make fun of.
New Orleanians take heed--visit the world, expand your horizons, increase your worldliness, but, for God's sake, take I-10 and not U.S. 90...
