... that everybody who isn't saying "Yes, massa. Right away, massa" to everything the US (government) decides is hating you. ;-) They are not. They are just disagreeing with you (r government). I think one problem is that your President still thinks America is the "Beacon light of Freedom" and he is the "Leader of the Free World". Which I don't think he is anymore after the fall of the Soviet Union. Today most industrialised countrys are "Free Countries" and the reason left why many people from there would like to live in the US is that they can make better money there. In most countries the fight for freedom is done, everybody is now focusing more on getting food on the table and live a decent live. And when you consider that a few island nations in the pacific might disappear if global warming really kicks in, for them the fact that the everagre American consumes about twice as much energy as the everage European is far more threatening than anything some stupid guy in Iraq might do.
