And this time, make sure you write it out in excrutiating detail. I've experienced this kind of 'misunderstanding' before. There is no way out for you, and you're likely to have to face some more heat from it all. But if you take this opportunity to actually write out how to reach you in such situations, they won't be able to do this to you in the future. Ok, maybe they will, but you'll have a documented backup to deflect the fire away. Did I mention, it's in the DETAILS?
